What areas can be treated?
Cutera Limelight is ideal for any part of the face, neck and décolletage with benign brown spots, telangiectasias (tiny veins) and skin redness.
This unique programmable Pulsed Light (PL) procedure offers the advantage of improving not only high contrast (dark) pigment but low contrast (lighter) pigment as well. it also improves skin tone and surface imperfections associated with aging and sun damage.
What do the treatments feel like?
Pulses of light deliver a mild pinching or stinging sensation but cooling gel is used to minimise discomfort.
How many treatments will I need?
One to three treatments are usually sufficient to see results. Excessive sun damage may require more.
What happens after the treatment and possible side effects?
Immediately following treatment, brown spots will start to darken and your skin may appear slightly red. it lasts for a few hours but may persist for a day or longer. The treatment area may be mildly swollen.
When will I see results?
A week to three weeks later the darker spots will flake off and fade. Diffuse redness or telangiectasia will decrease and your mottled complexion will improve.
